Season by Season

Season by season, this past year my fertile garden by the pond sprouted lush blooms & flourishing paintings, offering clues as to what would come.

Visions of an orchid house inspired a triptych painting that would guide the next decade of my artistry.

Kelly fell in love with Among Orchids and installed it in the foyer of her new home in Naples, Florida.

I used twigs of willow charcoal on an earthy pearlescent ground to create a pair called Botanical Essence: Shasta Daisies that were blooming prolificaly in their new fertile gound of my garden by the pond.

Renee fell in love with butterfly ‘s view of Enchanted coastal garden by the pond and installed it in her new great room in Richmond, Virginia.

Enchantment energies grounded in my fertile garden and seeded a wonderful surprise for the coming season.

I discovered anemones! Symbolizing faeries and their hidden world, they sprouted simultaneously in my paintings and garden ~ directing the vibrant new mission of my artistry for 2026.

Sneak a Peek @ Orchid Essence: Resilience 2026

I am VERY EXCITED! Each month in 2026, I will be painting a different floral essence. Think orchids, tulips, anemones, iris, hydrangea, hollyhocks, waterlilies, sunflowers, wildflowers, meadows, dahlias, amaryllis, oh so many!

This month I am drawing on the essence of orchid energies. Strength and resilience, I am already feeling their impact on my art and personal stamina.
